Fangda Group’s NHI: Singing the Song of Strivers Through Diligent Work
On the early morning of May 1st, the city was enveloped in the holiday atmosphere of the “International Workers’ Day”. While some citizens travel with their families, others sought respite from work-weary routines through restful sleep at home. In NHI’s production workshops, the clamor of machinery shattered the morning calm, composing an anthem to the toil of laborers.
Hu Jianfeng, the team leader of the “National Workers’ Pioneer” team, arrived at the workshop very early in the morning. He headed straight for the components waiting to be processed, which were related to the progress of the company’s key projects. Hu knew that as the team leader, he must not only lead the team to meet deadlines but also safeguard the hard-earned honor of the “National Workers’ Pioneer”.
After donning work uniforms and protective gears, Hu and his team members plunged into intense work. They measured dimensions, calibrated equipment, and meticulously machined each part. Every step shows their focus and professionalism. “The schedule is tight, and the workload is heavy, but quality must never be compromised,” Hu remarked as he operated the machinery, reminding his colleagues beside him. Under his leadership, the team worked in perfect harmony, the workshop buzzing with energetic activity. Hou Tianlong, born in 1996 in the team, said, “Watching the old masters stick to their principles for decades, I understand that labor is not only a means of livelihood, but also a love and responsibility for the career.”
Throughout NHI’ workshops, scenes like Hu’s team working tirelessly were ubiquitous on May 1st.
In the welding workshop, four welders were at work on a huge cylinder with a diameter of nearly 9 meters. Amidst a shower of sparks, they steadfastly guided their welding torches, inscribing precise seams onto the workpiece. These components were critical parts of the largest semi-autogenous mill ever exported by NHI. Every weld demanded their utmost skill and attention to ensure flawless quality.
In the assembly workshop, assemblers methodically conducted component installations, guided by overhead cranes capable of lifting over a hundred tons.
On the factory roads, heavy-duty vehicles shuttled between workshops, transporting products through various production stages.
As a company representative explained, NHI currently stands at a pivotal stage of development, seizing favorable opportunities in both domestic and international markets with a notable year-on-year increase in orders. While these opportunities present challenges, the smooth progress of key projects is vital for the company’s long-term growth.
